Thank you for choosing Blessed Tombstones. We are pleased to offer free shipping on all tombstone orders within South Africa. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process and deliver your orders.
1. Order Processing

Order Confirmation: Once you place an order and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email or WhatsApp (076 478 0471) with your order details and a unique order number.

Production Lead Time: Tombstone fabrication and finishing typically require 7–14 business days from order confirmation. Custom designs may extend lead time; we will notify you accordingly.

Ready-to-Ship Notification: When your tombstone is complete, we will send a dispatch notification with tracking information.
2. Shipping Method & Carriers
We partner with reputable freight and courier companies experienced in handling heavy and fragile cargo, such as The Courier Guy, Aramex, Barloworld Logistics, and Bidvest Panalpina. Carriers are selected based on order size and delivery location.
3. Delivery Estimates

4. Packaging & Handling

Protective Crating: Each tombstone is custom-crated with reinforced timber and foam protectors to prevent damage.

Labeling: Crates are marked “Fragile – Handle with Care” and include your order number.

Inspection Prior to Dispatch: We inspect every shipment for quality, finish, and integrity before handing it to the carrier.
5. Tracking Your Shipment

You will receive the carrier’s name, a tracking number, and an estimated delivery date range once your order ships.

Use these details on the carrier’s website or via their customer service to track your delivery in real time.
6. Delivery & Inspection

Delivery Appointment: Carriers will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery window.

Unloading: Please arrange suitable equipment or assistance to safely unload the crate.

Inspection on Receipt:

Check the crate exterior for visible damage and note it on the delivery document.

Open the crate and inspect the tombstone immediately for any issues.

Report any damage or shortages within 48 hours by sending photos and your order number.

We will arrange repair or replacement at no extra cost if damage is verified.
7. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However:

Damaged on Arrival: We will repair or replace damaged items at no extra charge once verified.

Manufacturing Defect: Report defects within 7 days of delivery; we will address them per our warranty terms.
8. Delays & Force Majeure
While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen events (e.g., extreme weather, carrier delays) may occur. Blessed Tombstones is not liable for delays beyond our control but will keep you informed of any changes.
